We know that a trip to the doctors office is never high on the list of fun things kids would like to do.
It is however very important for children to have their eyes examined by a professional to rule out any potential vision problems which if caught early enough can dramatically improve the child’s vision for the rest of their life.
As a child begins learning how to read, they are placing an increased demand on their eye muscles and visual system. If the eyes have not developed properly due to an underlying vision problem, children may not be able to read at an age-appropriate level.
This is why we believe that every child should have a comprehensive vision exam before they begin school.
